Nothing to do with golf, or an elusive, cat-like creature from the Central African plains. Just sites I visit fairly regularly. Cos they're cool.........

You can't get into Deep Purple without the in-depth "Darker Than Blue" magazine, sporadic but fascinating and very detailed. Check out the DPAS webpage for info on how to join. Also here is info on the re-activated Purple Records label.

At you'll find alot of news regarding new releases, tour dates etc. For more up-to-the-minute info, as it happens, plus reviews. Based on fact rather than rumour (to paraphrase), the site also is nurturing a background of information regarding the activities of the Purple family and is directly involved with the release of archive recordings etc......

At The Deep Purple hub homepage you can meet other Purple fans from around the globe and trade/share live recordings.

Check out the "original" band web-site The Highway Star

Go here for the official Steve Morse webpage.

The DEFINITIVE bootleg tape guide Vol I, II & III can be got from Michael Richards; Write to him or send him an email for details of his massively comprehensive Deep Purple bootleg tape bible. A real masterpiece/labour of love garuanteed to have any tape collector foaming at the mouth. You must buy this book, but tell him where you found the plug!

Brian Currins's amazing Purple links-Amazingly comprehensive, I'm there in at least two places :^)

Ian Gillan's official site. Often first with the tourdates, and a home a some anecdotal nonsense that's well worth a peak..

Glenn Hughes's official site. A goldmine of info on the man, past and present.

The official Tommy Bolin website-Well animated, very informative with a bulletin board to meet other fans.

Ritchie's official website. A bit vague, but there's more info on him here than at the DPWWW site....... is a site all about the history of one of those fantastic old venues, sadly no longer with us, Green's Playhouse/Apollo in Glasgow. Many of Britain's great venues are being demolished that have been associated with Purple-At least this one has a great archive of information, check it out.

The Aviator is the German Deep Purple online fan presence-Many thanks to them for some of the updates provided here.

Princiapl Edwards Magic Theatre is the homepage of a progressive rock band who supported Purple in the 70s a few times-Check out the sound samples and buy the album!.
